Yes, electric unicycles!
You may not have given the idea of riding a unicycle to work much thought and we’d perfectly understand that because pedaling one can get tiring but an electric one? That’s much less like hard work and a lot more like fun.
They’re faster than electric skateboards and they’re just as easy to put away too.
Nobody knows when the unicycle was invented or by whom but that hasn’t stopped the unusual vehicle from becoming a subject of interest for everyone who sees it.
It’s also not hard to learn how to ride one.

So, they’re stylish and practical and our picks for the top e-Unicycles will help you find the perfect companion for whatever kind of commute you want to do with it!
Best Electric Unicycles
Inmotion V8 Unicycle

This light and completely waterproof model zips along at up to 19 miles per hour.
This is one of the best options for commuters because you can carry it on to a bus or train.
However, it can only support up to 260 lbs. in weight which means some bigger folks will need to look at more powerful unicycles.
The battery life is absolutely excellent on this Inmotion design.
You can find the Inmotion V8 Unicycle on the eWheels website.
Gotway Tesla 16” Unicycle
This can support a load of up to 275 lbs. while moving at 30 mph!
That makes the Gotway Tesla one of the most impressive unicycles on the road when it comes to power. It’s also a gorgeous machine to look at.
It’s a little heavy at 42 lbs. so if you want to walk a long way with it under your arm, you might struggle but otherwise, this model is a serious contender for “best electric unicycle”.

KingSong 18 XL Unicycle
This is a beast of a unicycle and fittingly, it can carry up to 325 lbs. of person as it zips from destination to destination.
The maximum incline that it can handle is 35 degrees which ought to be enough for most commuters.
It’s no slouch either with a maximum speed of 31 mph but the downside is it’s very heavy at 53lbs.
The two port charging system is a thing of genius though and it means you can get to full charge in half the time of other models.

Gotway MSX Pro Unicycle
Another Gotway model and this is much larger than the previous model with a 19” wheel that’s perfect for a taller rider.
The tire is a full 2 inches wide and that means it has no problem gripping the road and particularly if you put the max load of 325 lbs. on it.
Our only real gripe with this model is that it’s a bit expensive for what you get. We’d like to see it come down in price a little in the future.
You can find the Gotway MSX Pro Unicycle on the eWheels website.
KingSong 16 S Unicycle
Smaller and lighter than it’s bigger brothers this unicycle can still climb up to a 30-degree incline with a 250 lbs. passenger!
This may be the perfect entry level unicycle for a teenager or young adult looking for something fun but not overpowered.
It also has some of the best safety features of any electric unicycle which ought to make parents happy too.
You can find the KingSong 16 S Unicycle on the eWheels website.
Inmotion V10 F Unicycle
The V10F is a great 16-inch unicycle and we found it to be one of the most stable designs that we tested – you really have to work very hard to knock it over.
The pedals are also among the most comfortable of all the models in our trial. The carrying handle is a welcome addition that we wish other unicycle manufacturers would take note of.
The only downside of this is it’s not water-resistant and that does limit how it can be used.
You can find the Inmotion V10 F Unicycle on the eWheels website.
Veteran Sherman 20” Unicycle
This is a heavy model (77 lbs.) but which can make short work of anything.
It carries up to 330 lbs. of person and at speeds of up to 45 mph! If you’ve got to get somewhere, this is a winner.
It’s not cheap and it’s certainly not suited to beginners but if you’ve got some unicycling experience then this may just be the best unicycle that you can buy!
You can find the Veteran Sherman 20” Unicycle on the eWheels website.
KingSong S 18 Unicycle
Our last KingSong model and last of our roundup too is this excellent unicycle which can travel up to 45 miles in a single charge!
It has KingSong’s new air suspension system which makes it very comfortable to ride even when the terrain gets a bit bumpy.
You get a maximum speed of 30 mph and a maximum rider capacity of 300 lbs. too.
You can find the KingSong S 18 Unicycle on the eWheels website.
